Word (1.05, only) - quick paragraph formatting - Word stores paragraph format settings (tabs, fonts
& sizes, style, justification, etc,) in the ¶ symbol at the end of each paragraph. For fast formatting hit COMMAND-Y (will make the ¶ symbols visible). Select the ¶ symbol, (double-click on it), copy it and paste it over the ¶ symbol of any paragraph you want to change. (Don't ever delete the marker - you will lose the paragraph formatting.) Another way is to store your favorite ¶ settings in your glossary. Then you can insert it at the end of a paragraph and your paragraph will be formatted instantly. Be sure to give the glossary ¶ a name you will remember. Whey you want to use that format, type the glossary name and hit COMMAND-BACKSPACE, position the I-beam to the left of the ¶ marker and type the paragraph.
